Join us for our inaugural Creative Career Expo helping San Diego’s diverse population of high school youth and young adults to build awareness, essential skills and opportunities for them within the many creative industries that are crucial to the 21st Century.


Saturday, March 14, 2015
10:00 am – 4:00 pm



Highlights include:

* * Design The New Trend with the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FiDM)- Analyze current trends from major brands such as H&M and Forever 21.

* * On Set Experience with San Diego Filmmakers – Get hands-on experience with industry experts.

* * Tonya Castillion of San Diego’s Energy 103.7 – Music and entertaining are her passions, and she could not imagine herself doing anything else.

* * Anthony Washington – Successful digital artist with plenty of industry experience. His clients include: DC Comics, SONY, World of Warcraft, among others.

* * Gaming Lounge – Fanboy Gaming sets up tournaments on every platform in the San Diego area. Come and test your skills with fellow gamers.

* * Urban Art – Meet Writerz Blok and learn how street art can become a creative tool for community improvement.

* * True Roots Catering – Learn about working in the culinary and hospitality industry, tour the True Roots Catering kitchen facilities, and participate in a hands-on cooking demonstration.
